After graduating from high school, I attended the Newhouse School of Public Communications on a scholarship, but soon changed my major to Music Education and transferred to SUNY Potsdam to attend the Crane School of Music. After graduation, I married my high school sweetheart, and best friend, and soon began our family. We were blessed with two wonderful children, a daughter and a son, and spent the next 18 years raising them. We home schooled both of them through high school and brought them up in the Lord. I was blessed with the opportunity to use my education when I began the first home school concert band in New York State. The band was under my direction for the next seven years, until my children both were in college. My life then came full circle. Though I had never planned on it, God called me to teaching Ladies\u2019 Bible studies and then back to writing. I have had some articles published in Christian Woman magazine and have written some of my own Bible studies. Looking back, I can see God's work in preparing me for this season of life. He continues to be full of surprises. A few years ago, I was amazed to find God calling me to do some speaking for Him. I answered that call and have spoken at statewide retreats and a retreat in Conway, Arkansas. I love to speak about living passionately for Christ, among other topics. I teach a weekly Ladies' Bible study and continue to step through any doors the Lord opens for me. I am currently working on a book and doing as much writing as I am able.
